- Perform blood draws on patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure accurate specimen collection and labeling.

Completion Of An Accredited Phlebotomy Training Program: A Cpt I At Sutter Health Must Have Completed A Recognized Program In Phlebotomy, Which Includes Both Classroom Instruction And Hands-On Clinical Experience.
Certification As A Phlebotomy Technician: Sutter Health Requires Its Cpt I Employees To Hold A Nationally Recognized Certification From An Accredited Organization, Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).
Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology: A Cpt I At Sutter Health Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Human Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As A Working Knowledge Of Medical Terminology To Accurately Perform Phlebotomy Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Cpt I, You Will Be Interacting With Patients On A Daily Basis. Sutter Health Looks For Individuals With Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide A Positive Patient Experience.
