- Provide compassionate and exceptional care to patients in accordance with Sutter Health's standards and policies.
- Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting and transferring techniques.
- Monitor patients' physical and mental status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Respond promptly and respectfully to patients' requests and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to develop and implement care plans for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and trainings.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.
- Comply with all state and federal regulations related to the role of a Certified Nurse Assistant.
- Represent Sutter Health in a professional and positive manner at all times.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Certified Nurse Assistant (Cna) At Sutter Health Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Job.
State Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid And Current Certification From The State In Which They Will Be Working As A Cna.
Cpr Certification: Sutter Health Requires All Cnas To Have A Current Cpr Certification To Ensure They Are Prepared To Respond To Emergency Situations.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates With Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Nursing Home, Will Be Preferred For The Cna Position.
Ability To Lift And Move Patients: Certified Nurse Assistants At Sutter Health Must Be Physically Capable Of Lifting And Moving Patients As Needed, So Candidates Must Be In Good Physical Condition And Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
