  1. Provide direct patient care: The Certified Nurse Assistant will be responsible for providing basic care and assistance to patients under the direction of a nurse or physician. This includes tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene, and helping patients with mobility.
  2. Assist with daily living activities: CNAs will assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. They may also help with feeding, ambulating, and toileting.
  3. Monitor patient conditions: It is the responsibility of the CNA to monitor and report any changes in a patient's condition to the supervising nurse or physician. They will also record and report vital signs and other patient data accurately.
  4. Create a comfortable and safe environment: CNAs are responsible for ensuring that patients are in a clean and safe environment. This includes making beds, tidying up patient rooms, and maintaining infection control protocols.
  5. Provide emotional support: In addition to physical care, CNAs are responsible for providing emotional support to patients. This may include listening to concerns, offering words of encouragement, and providing companionship.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare team: The CNA will work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients. They will communicate any concerns or changes in a patient's condition to the appropriate team members.
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality: As a healthcare professional, the CNA is responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality and following all HIPAA regulations.
  8. Attend trainings and educational opportunities: CNAs are responsible for staying up-to-date on best practices and advancements in the healthcare industry. This may include attending trainings and educational opportunities as required by the employer.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols: CNAs must follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of themselves and their patients. This may include proper body mechanics when lifting and transferring patients, using personal protective equipment, and following infection control measures.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Certified Nurse Assistant Program

  • Current Certification As A Certified Nurse Assistant In The State Of California

  • Minimum Of 6 Months Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Long-Term Care Facility Or Hospital

  • Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information

  • Ability To Work Well In A Team And Maintain A Positive Attitude While Providing Compassionate Care To Patients.
