  1. Perform cardiac catheterizations and other invasive procedures accurately and efficiently.
  2. Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment for procedures.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and assist with administering sedation as needed.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to provide high-quality care to patients.
  5. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  6. Document all procedures and maintain accurate records.
  7. Troubleshoot and maintain equipment in the cath lab.
  8. Maintain knowledge of current best practices and advancements in cath lab technology.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  10. Assist with training and mentoring new cath lab technologists.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient workflow.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with professionalism.
  14. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and customer service.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (Rcvt) Through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Cci).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Cath Lab Technologist In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Proficient In Operating And Troubleshooting Various Cath Lab Equipment And Technologies, Including Hemodynamic Monitoring Systems, Fluoroscopy Machines, And Intravascular Ultrasound.

  • Knowledge Of And Ability To Adhere To Relevant Safety Protocols, Infection Control Measures, And Radiation Protection Guidelines In The Cath Lab.
