- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular field, including but not limited to echocardiograms, stress testing, and vascular procedures.
- Utilize advanced technology and equipment to accurately and efficiently perform procedures.
- Maintain a high level of proficiency in all aspects of cardiovascular technology, including knowledge of current industry standards and best practices.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to procedures, promptly reporting any abnormalities or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Educate and prepare patients for procedures, explaining the purpose and process in a clear and understandable manner.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, adhering to all HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures.
- Act as a patient advocate, providing compassionate and patient-centered care at all times.
- Stay current on advancements and changes in the field of cardiovascular technology, attending trainings and conferences as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, working closely with colleagues to ensure the highest level of patient care is delivered.
Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Cardiovascular Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology.
Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (Rcvt) Or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Cardiac Catheterization Lab Or Electrophysiology Lab.
Experience With Various Cardiovascular Procedures, Including Cardiac Catheterization, Pacemaker Insertion, And Electrophysiology Studies.
