  1. Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures on patients with cardiovascular conditions, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and electrocardiograms.
  2. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the physician.
  3. Administer medications and assist with invasive procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties.
  4. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, and provide emotional support as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and patient information.
  6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
  7. Operate and maintain complex cardiovascular equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  8. Educate patients on cardiovascular health and disease prevention techniques.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  10. Keep up-to-date with advancements in cardiovascular technology and procedures.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  14. Train and mentor new Cardiovascular Technologists as needed.
  15. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and trainings.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting

  • Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs)

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Diagnostic And Interventional Procedures

  • Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot Equipment Used In Cardiovascular Procedures, Such As Ekg Machines And Cardiac Catheters.
