  1. Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients according to department protocols and standards.
  2. Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to accurately assess and evaluate cardiac structures and function.
  3. Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
  4. Record and document all procedures and findings accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care and continuity of services.
  6. Educate patients and their families about the procedure and provide support and reassurance throughout the process.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety regulations while performing procedures.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in the field of cardiac sonography through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  9. Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members and students.
  10. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  11. Comply with all hospital and department policies and procedures.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of department protocols and standards.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job performance.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field.

  • Ardms (American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Certification In Adult Echocardiography And Pediatric Echocardiography.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, With A Focus On Cardiac Sonography.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology In Both Adult And Pediatric Patients.
