Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other diagnostic procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.   1. Conduct echocardiograms and other diagnostic procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
  2. Utilize specialized equipment to produce high-quality images and videos of the heart and surrounding structures.
  3. Perform preliminary analysis and interpretation of test results, identifying any abnormalities or concerns.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate testing and treatment plans for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation of test results.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  7. Educate patients on the procedures and answer any questions they may have.
  8. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
  9. Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring their comfort, privacy, and overall satisfaction.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
  12. Attend departmental meetings and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  13. Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  14. Train and supervise new staff members as needed.
  15. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Cardiac Sonography, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathophysiology

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And With Patients From Diverse Backgrounds.
