Cardiac Sonographer

1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients using specialized equipment to assess heart and its functions.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide accurate and timely diagnosis for patients.
3. Maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients during procedures.
4. Monitor patient vitals and document any changes or concerns during procedures.
5. Keep accurate records of procedures performed and patient information.
6. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functioning.
7. Educate patients on procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
9. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in cardiac imaging techniques and equipment.
10. Provide compassionate care to patients and ensure their comfort throughout the procedure.
11. Assist in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
13. Act as a resource for other team members and assist with training and mentoring new staff.
14. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
16. Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
17. Maintain a professional and positive attitude towards patients and colleagues.
18. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and educational sessions.
