  1. Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac cath lab, including but not limited to: angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions.
  2. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures by monitoring vital signs and assisting with positioning and preparation.
  3. Operate and maintain equipment, including x-ray machines and imaging software, to ensure accuracy and efficiency during procedures.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and communicate any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in technology and procedures related to cardiac catheterization.
  9. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures, risks, and aftercare.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Cardiac Catheterization Lab Setting.

  • Current Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (Rcvt).

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Various Cardiac Catheterization Equipment And Imaging Systems.

  • Strong Understanding Of Anatomy And Physiology Related To The Cardiovascular System.

  • Ability To Assist Physicians With Various Invasive Procedures And Provide Patient Education And Support.
