Job Description

Are you a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with a passion for using data to drive business decisions? Do you have experience in the healthcare industry and a strong understanding of business intelligence tools and techniques? If so, then Sutter Health is looking for you to join our team as a Business Intelligence Analyst III. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and enhance operational performance. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of stakeholders and make a real impact on the healthcare industry. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role.   1. Conduct data analysis and interpretation using business intelligence tools and techniques to support strategic initiatives and enhance operational performance.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  3. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and monitor trends.
  4. Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and work with appropriate teams to resolve them.
  5. Stay updated with industry trends and developments in business intelligence to continuously improve data analysis processes.
  6. Communicate complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Work with large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations to drive strategic decision-making.
  8. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data sources are accurate and up to date.
  9. Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity.
  10. Provide training and support to team members and end-users on business intelligence tools and techniques.
  11. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
  12. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present findings to support business initiatives.
  13. Participate in project teams and provide guidance on data analysis and interpretation.
  14. Ensure compliance with all data privacy and security regulations.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert on business intelligence and data analytics within the healthcare industry.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Or A Related Field.

  • Proficiency In Sql And Experience With Database Management Systems Such As Oracle, Sql Server, Or Mysql.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Provide Actionable Insights.

  • Experience With Data Visualization Tools Such As Tableau Or Power Bi, And Knowledge Of Statistical Analysis Techniques.
