  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and monitoring equipment.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meets safety standards.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, making necessary repairs or coordinating with external vendors for more complex issues.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all equipment maintenance and repairs, including documentation of tests, repairs, and replacements.
  5. Work closely with healthcare providers and staff to ensure equipment is available and functioning properly for patient care.
  6. Train and educate healthcare staff on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology and equipment, and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements when necessary.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with medical equipment.
  9. Collaborate with other members of the biomedical equipment team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
  11. Communicate effectively with colleagues, superiors, and external vendors regarding equipment issues and repairs.
  12. Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service and patient care.
  13. Adhere to budget and time constraints for equipment repairs and maintenance.
  14. Report any significant equipment issues or potential safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
  15. Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Associates Degree In Biomedical Equipment Technology Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Medical Equipment In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment Troubleshooting And Repair Techniques.

  • Familiarity With Safety Regulations And Standards For Medical Equipment.

  • Strong Communication And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
