  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the Cancer Support and Integrative Services department to ensure high-quality care for patients.
  2. Manage and lead a team of professionals, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
  3. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
  4. Oversee the budget for the department and ensure efficient use of resources.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services within the department, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  6. Collaborate with other department leaders and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care for cancer patients.
  7. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in cancer support and integrative services, implementing new initiatives as appropriate.
  8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to cancer care.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the department and other departments, community organizations, and external partners.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients and their families, to ensure their needs are being met.
  11. Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal care for patients.
  12. Represent the department and Sutter Health in professional organizations and community events.
  13. Handle any issues or concerns related to the department in a timely and effective manner.
  14. Continuously assess and improve the patient experience, seeking feedback and implementing improvements as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Business Management.

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within The Healthcare Industry, With A Focus On Cancer Care And Integrative Services.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance, Particularly In Relation To Cancer Treatment And Patient Support Services.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing A Team And Implementing Strategic Initiatives To Improve Patient Outcomes And Operational Efficiency.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
