  1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
  2. Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care to patients.
  3. Utilize knowledge and expertise in surgical nursing to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
  4. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  7. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  8. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and follow-up instructions.
  9. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills in surgical nursing.
  11. Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced nursing staff.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  13. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure efficient patient flow in the operating room.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  16. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  17. Continuously assess and evaluate the quality of care provided and make recommendations for improvement.
  18. Attend meetings and participate in committees as required.
  19. Assist with equipment and supply management in the operating room.
  20. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution

  • Bls And Acls Certification

  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Surgical Setting, Preferably In The Operating Room

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
