Job Description

We are looking for a top-notch Staff Software Engineer to join our Robotics Applications team at Stryker. Our ideal candidate should have a passion for pushing technology to its limits and a commitment to delivering the best software solutions that create a cutting-edge user experience. To excel in this role, you should have an eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and strong problem solving skills.The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; 5+ years of experience in software engineering; experience with robotics programming and/or embedded systems; and a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures. Experience developing mobile and web applications is a plus.We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop software solutions that create a cutting-edge user experience.
  2. Develop mobile and web applications, as needed.
  3. Program robotics applications and embedded systems.
  4. Design and implement algorithms and data structures.
  5. Work collaboratively with other team members in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Monitor and troubleshoot software programs.
  7. Maintain high standards of quality and performance.
  8. Manage the release of software updates.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in software engineering.
  10. Proactively identify and address potential software problems.
