Job Description

Stryker is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining software test plans and scripts, and providing technical support for software development projects. We are looking for someone with a passion for quality assurance who is eager to help us improve our products.The ideal candidate should have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with at least 5 years of software testing experience. You should possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Additionally, experience in the medical device industry is preferred.You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, execute, and maintain software test plans and scripts.
  2. Provide technical support for software development projects.
  3. Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot software defects.
  4. Work with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that software meets required quality standards.
  5. Develop and document test plans and procedures.
  6. Document test results and analyze data.
  7. Monitor development cycles and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
  8. Assist with the development and maintenance of automated tests.
  9. Develop and maintain test scripts and tools.
  10. Collaborate with product owners to ensure requirements are met.
  11. Maintain and update test plans and processes.
  12. Monitor and report on test progress and results.
  13. Present results to stakeholders and senior management.
