  1. Design and develop embedded software for Stryker's medical devices in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, system engineers, and quality assurance to ensure successful integration of software into medical devices.
  3. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software to ensure high-quality and reliable products.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement in software development processes.
  5. Lead and mentor junior software engineers, providing guidance and support in technical matters.
  6. Take ownership of software development projects, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and presenting technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Contribute to the creation and review of technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
  9. Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements for medical device software development.
  10. Continuously improve software development processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  11. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by customers or internal teams.
  12. Participate in product design reviews and provide input on software feasibility and functionality.
  13. Follow software development best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
  14. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to software development.
  15. Collaborate with external vendors or partners as needed for software development.
  16. Support and participate in design verification and validation activities.
  17. Foster a culture of innovation and teamwork within the software engineering team.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Embedded Software Development, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C/C++, Python, And Java.

  • Strong Understanding Of Software Development Processes And Methodologies, Including Agile And Waterfall.

  • Experience With Embedded Software Tools And Technologies, Such As Real-Time Operating Systems (Rtos), Microcontrollers, And Communication Protocols.
