  1. Design and develop innovative medical devices using computer-aided engineering techniques.
  2. Utilize expertise in electrical engineering to improve existing products and develop new ones.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet regulatory and quality standards.
  4. Conduct research and stay updated on industry advancements and trends in computer-aided engineering.
  5. Create and maintain detailed documentation of designs, test results, and project progress.
  6. Lead and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
  7. Ensure timely completion of projects and meet all project deadlines.
  8. Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential design issues.

  12. Continuously seek ways to improve product designs and processes.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to source materials and components.
  14. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new product designs.
  15. Adhere to project budgets and timelines.
  16. Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements.
  17. Identify and implement new technologies and tools to enhance the design process.
  18. Work closely with the marketing team to understand customer needs and develop products that meet those needs.
  19. Attend conferences and seminars to stay updated on industry advancements and network with other professionals.
  20. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Computer-Aided Engineering (Cae) Software: A Senior Staff Electrical Engineer At Stryker Should Have A Deep Understanding And Proficiency In Using Cae Software For Design, Simulation, And Analysis Of Complex Electrical Systems. This Includes Software Such As Ansys, Matlab/Simulink, And Solidworks.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Electrical Engineering Principles: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Foundation In Electrical Engineering Principles, Including Circuit Design, Electromagnetics, And Power Electronics. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry Standards And Regulations.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership And Project Management Skills. This Includes The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams, Manage Timelines And Budgets, And Communicate Effectively With Stakeholders.

  • Experience With Medical Device Industry: Stryker Is A Leading Medical Device Company, So Experience In The Industry Is Highly Desirable. The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Device Regulations, Quality Systems, And Risk Management Processes.

  • Advanced Degree In Electrical Engineering: A Senior Staff Electrical Engineer At Stryker Is Expected To Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field. A Ph.d. Is Preferred. This Demonstrates A High Level Of Technical Expertise And A Commitment To Continuous Learning And Innovation.
