  1. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential risks within various departments and processes.
  2. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness of risk management strategies.
  4. Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to risk management.
  5. Analyze data and provide insights to support decision making and risk mitigation efforts.
  6. Monitor and track the progress of risk management initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management.
  7. Create and present reports on risk assessment findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  8. Participate in internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
  9. Train and educate employees on risk management principles and best practices.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert on risk management, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  11. Proactively identify potential areas of risk and work to prevent them from becoming larger issues.
  12. Collaborate with external partners, such as auditors and consultants, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  13. Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
  14. Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate effective communication and risk management efforts.
  15. Continuously assess and improve risk management processes to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Risk Assessment And Internal Audit: A Senior Risk Analyst At Stryker Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Conducting Risk Assessments And Internal Audits In A Corporate Setting. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Be Able To Identify Potential Risks And Provide Recommendations To Mitigate Them.

  • Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills: As A Senior Risk Analyst, The Individual Should Possess Excellent Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Critically To Assess Complex Data And Identify Potential Risks. They Should Also Be Able To Analyze And Interpret Financial Statements, Internal Controls, And Audit Reports To Provide Valuable Insights To The Company.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance: Stryker Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And It Is Crucial For The Senior Risk Analyst To Have A Good Understanding Of Relevant Regulatory Requirements. This Includes Knowledge Of Laws And Regulations Such As The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (Fcpa), The Sarbanes-Oxley Act (Sox), And The Health Insurance Portability And Accountability Act (Hipaa).

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Senior Risk Analyst Will Be Required To Communicate And Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Internal Audit Teams, And External Auditors. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Convey Risk Assessments, Audit Findings, And Recommendations To Different Audiences.

  • Professional Certifications: Stryker May Prefer Candidates Who Possess Relevant Professional Certifications, Such As Certified Internal Auditor (Cia), Certified Information Systems Auditor (Cisa), Or Certified Fraud Examiner (Cfe).
