Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Quality Engineer to join our Stryker team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality management systems, performing root cause analysis, and leading corrective actions. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you should have excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have a proven record of driving quality and process improvement initiatives.To be a successful Senior Quality Engineer at Stryker, you must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. You should also have at least 5 years of experience in quality engineering, a working knowledge of FDA regulations, and experience with ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001 standards. In addition, you must have a strong knowledge of quality management tools, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain quality management systems in accordance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001 standards.
  2. Lead corrective actions and root cause analysis to identify process improvements.
  3. Utilize statistical methods and quality management tools, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, to evaluate process performance.
  4. Develop and implement quality control standards, procedures, and protocols.
  5. Monitor production standards and processes to ensure product quality.
  6. Liaise with other departments to ensure quality standards are being met.
  7. Investigate customer complaints and non-conforming products.
  8. Prepare and maintain quality related reports and documents.
  9. Train and mentor other quality engineers.
  10. Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Compensation

According to JobzMall, the average salary range for a Senior Quality Engineer in Redmond, WA, USA is $72,000 to $90,000 per year. This range does not include bonuses or other incentives.
