  1. Oversee the transfer of products from design to manufacturing, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.
  2. Develop and maintain quality standards and processes to ensure the highest level of product quality.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to prevent quality issues.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and regulatory to ensure a seamless transfer process.
  5. Perform thorough evaluations of manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  6. Develop and implement quality control procedures, including inspection plans and testing protocols.
  7. Monitor and analyze product performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  8. Investigate and resolve any product quality issues that arise during the transfer process.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  10. Mentor and train junior engineers on quality engineering principles and practices.
  11. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, regarding product transfer progress and any potential risks or issues.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in quality engineering to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  13. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all quality engineering activities.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of new product development processes to ensure quality is built in from the beginning.
  15. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the company's values and standards at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Quality Control Experience: A Senior Product Transfer Quality Engineer At Stryker Should Have A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Quality Control, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. This Experience Should Include A Deep Understanding Of Quality Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 13485 And Fda Regulations.

  • Product Transfer Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Transferring Products From Development To Manufacturing. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Product Transfer Processes And Be Able To Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise During The Transfer Process.

  • Project Management Skills: A Senior Product Transfer Quality Engineer Should Possess Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously. They Should Be Able To Develop And Execute Project Plans, Track Progress, And Communicate Updates To Stakeholders.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: This Role Requires A Highly Analytical And Detail-Oriented Individual Who Can Identify And Solve Complex Problems. They Should Be Able To Use Data And Metrics To Drive Decision-Making And Implement Continuous Improvement Initiatives.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Senior Product Transfer Quality Engineer Will Work Closely With Various Teams, Including R&D, Manufacturing, And Quality Assurance. As Such, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential To Effectively Coordinate And Align Efforts To Ensure Successful Product Transfers.
