- Oversee the transfer of products from design to manufacturing, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.
- Develop and maintain quality standards and processes to ensure the highest level of product quality.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to prevent quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and regulatory to ensure a seamless transfer process.
- Perform thorough evaluations of manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, including inspection plans and testing protocols.
- Monitor and analyze product performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Investigate and resolve any product quality issues that arise during the transfer process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on quality engineering principles and practices.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, regarding product transfer progress and any potential risks or issues.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in quality engineering to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all quality engineering activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new product development processes to ensure quality is built in from the beginning.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the company's values and standards at all times.
Extensive Quality Control Experience: A Senior Product Transfer Quality Engineer At Stryker Should Have A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Quality Control, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. This Experience Should Include A Deep Understanding Of Quality Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 13485 And Fda Regulations.
Product Transfer Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Transferring Products From Development To Manufacturing. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Product Transfer Processes And Be Able To Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise During The Transfer Process.
Project Management Skills: A Senior Product Transfer Quality Engineer Should Possess Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously. They Should Be Able To Develop And Execute Project Plans, Track Progress, And Communicate Updates To Stakeholders.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: This Role Requires A Highly Analytical And Detail-Oriented Individual Who Can Identify And Solve Complex Problems. They Should Be Able To Use Data And Metrics To Drive Decision-Making And Implement Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
