- Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats to our products.
- Design and implement security controls and measures to protect against cyber attacks and safeguard sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into product development processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in product security and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain product security policies, procedures, and guidelines to be followed by all team members.
- Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address any vulnerabilities in our products.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on product security, providing guidance and training to other team members as needed.
- Partner with external vendors and security partners to enhance product security and ensure their compliance with our security standards.
- Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolution and communication to stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of product security measures and make recommendations for enhancements.
Extensive Experience In Product Security: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Product Security, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In This Field. They Should Be Familiar With Industry Best Practices And Have A Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Security Measures In Complex Products.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Standards: Stryker Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And The Senior Product Security Engineer Must Be Well-Versed In Relevant Regulations And Standards Such As Iso 13485, Fda Cybersecurity Guidelines, And Hipaa. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Regulatory Bodies To Ensure Compliance.
Technical Expertise: The Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Software And Hardware Security Principles, As Well As Experience With Security Tools And Technologies Such As Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration Testing, And Encryption. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Threat Modeling And Risk Assessment Methodologies.
