  1. Process and oversee accurate and timely payroll for all employees across the country, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  2. Utilize advanced knowledge of payroll systems and processes to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Finance, to ensure accurate and consistent data flow between systems.
  4. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations related to payroll and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to team members and other departments on payroll-related matters.
  6. Review and analyze payroll data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement, and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Develop and maintain payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  8. Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and make necessary corrections.
  9. Communicate effectively with employees and respond to any inquiries or issues related to payroll in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Participate in payroll-related projects and initiatives to continuously improve processes and systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Payroll Processing And Management: A Senior Payroll Analyst At Stryker Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Processing Payroll For A Large Organization, Including The Ability To Handle Complex Payroll Calculations And Compliance With Local, State, And Federal Regulations.

  • Strong Understanding Of Payroll Software And Systems: Candidates Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Payroll Software And Systems, Such As Adp Or Workday, And Have Experience Implementing New Payroll Systems And Processes.

  • Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Tax Laws And Regulations, Including Federal And State Income Tax, Fica, And Unemployment Tax. They Should Also Have Experience With Year-End Tax Reporting And Compliance.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Payroll Analyst Should Have Strong Analytical Abilities And Be Able To Identify And Resolve Complex Payroll Issues. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data And Identify Trends And Patterns.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Since A Senior Payroll Analyst Will Be Working Closely With Various Departments And Employees, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential. The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Complex Payroll Information In A Clear And Concise Manner And Collaborate Effectively With Others.
