- Lead the development and launch of new products within the New Product Introduction department, using your extensive knowledge and experience in molding engineering.
- Utilize your expertise in molding processes and techniques to ensure the successful production of high-quality and innovative medical products.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any molding-related issues during the product development process.
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in molding technology, and recommend improvements to current processes and techniques.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure the manufacturability of new product designs and provide input on design for manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain molding process documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process control plans.
- Monitor and analyze molding data to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on molding processes and techniques, and provide guidance and support to other team members.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards, regulations, and best practices in the manufacturing of medical products.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In A Molding Engineering Role Within The Medical Device Industry
Proven Track Record Of Successful Implementation Of New Molding Processes And Technologies
Extensive Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Iso Standards Related To Medical Device Manufacturing
Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Meet Project Timelines And Budgets.
