  1. Conduct microbiology testing and analysis on various medical products and solutions.
  2. Develop and validate microbiological methods and protocols.
  3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  4. Oversee and manage the work of junior microbiologists.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve microbiology-related issues.
  6. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  7. Analyze and interpret data to determine product safety and efficacy.
  8. Prepare and present reports and findings to management and other stakeholders.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in microbiology.
  10. Train and mentor junior microbiologists on laboratory techniques and procedures.
  11. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
  12. Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
  13. Communicate and coordinate with external laboratories for testing and analysis.
  14. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Microbiology Or Related Field: A Senior Microbiologist At Stryker Should Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Microbiology Or A Related Field. This Advanced Education Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of Microbiology Principles And Techniques.

  • Extensive Experience In Microbiological Testing And Analysis: A Senior Microbiologist Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Conducting Microbiological Testing And Analysis. This Experience Should Include A Variety Of Techniques Such As Microbial Identification, Sterility Testing, And Environmental Monitoring.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: A Senior Microbiologist Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines Related To Microbiology, Such As Fda Regulations And Iso Standards. This Knowledge Is Crucial For Ensuring That All Testing And Analysis Is Compliant With Industry Standards.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Level Position, A Senior Microbiologist At Stryker Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills. This Includes The Ability To Lead A Team, Delegate Tasks, And Provide Guidance And Mentorship To Junior Staff Members.
