- Provide strategic guidance and leadership in the areas of technical accounting and financial compliance.
- Ensure compliance with complex accounting and financial regulations, including GAAP and other regulatory standards.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting and financial regulations and communicate any potential impacts to the organization.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee and maintain the company's internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment for complex transactions.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
- Train and educate employees on accounting and compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits to identify any potential issues and make recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership on financial compliance matters and provide guidance on best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting and compliance professionals.
- Drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in financial reporting and compliance processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on technical accounting issues to various stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior leadership.
Extensive Knowledge Of Technical Accounting And Financial Compliance Regulations: A Senior Manager In This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap), International Financial Reporting Standards (Ifrs), And Other Relevant Accounting Standards And Regulations.
Leadership And Management Experience: This Position Requires The Ability To Lead A Team And Manage Complex Projects. A Qualified Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Developing A Team.
