- Oversee and manage all legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions for Stryker, including due diligence, negotiations, and documentation.
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to the company's leadership team on potential mergers and acquisitions, including identifying risks and proposing solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and regulatory departments, to ensure smooth and timely execution of transactions.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations related to mergers and acquisitions, and advise the company accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the M&A process.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and other transaction-related documents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and advisors.
- Assist in integrating acquired companies into Stryker's operations and culture.
- Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys and other team members on M&A best practices and legal considerations.
- Continuously improve and streamline processes and procedures related to M&A activities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Extensive Experience In M&A Transactions: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Handling M&A Deals, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Legal And Regulatory Aspects Of M&A Transactions.
Proven Track Record Of Success: A Successful Senior M&A Counsel Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Closing Complex M&A Transactions. They Should Be Able To Demonstrate Their Ability To Negotiate Favorable Deals And Drive Value For The Company.
Strong Legal Background: The Candidate Should Have A Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School And A License To Practice Law In The Relevant Jurisdiction. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Corporate Law, Contract Law, And Other Relevant Legal Areas.
