  1. Develop and implement packaging strategies for Stryker's medical devices.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of packaging engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  3. Utilize technical expertise to design and test innovative packaging solutions that meet industry standards and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless integration of packaging into product development processes.
  5. Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in packaging technology to continuously improve Stryker's packaging solutions.
  6. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for packaging-related issues.
  7. Oversee packaging testing and validation processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers and vendors to ensure high quality and cost-effective packaging materials.
  9. Identify and implement cost-saving measures in packaging design and materials.
  10. Participate in product development meetings and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  11. Train and educate team members on packaging best practices and industry standards.
  12. Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and standardization of packaging processes and materials.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including FDA and ISO.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Represent Stryker as a packaging engineering expert in cross-functional meetings and external events.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Packaging Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Packaging Engineering Within The Medical Device Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Packaging Materials, Design Principles, And Industry Standards

  • Experience With Designing And Implementing Packaging Solutions For Complex Medical Devices

  • Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams And Projects, With Strong Project Management Skills.
