- Develop and implement quality strategies and processes for advanced medical devices to ensure the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
- Lead and manage quality improvement initiatives across the organization, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address any issues.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure quality is built into the design and development process.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other departments, including Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance.
- Conduct thorough investigations of any quality issues or complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards related to medical device quality and incorporate them into the company's quality processes.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and other team members on quality principles and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and seek out new opportunities to enhance product quality and patient safety.
Extensive Experience In Quality Management: A Senior Engineer, Advanced Quality At Stryker Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Quality Management, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Quality Systems, Regulations, And Iso Standards.
Strong Technical Skills: A Senior Engineer, Advanced Quality Must Have A Strong Technical Background In Engineering, With A Focus On Quality Engineering Principles. This Includes Knowledge Of Statistical Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, And Risk Management.
Leadership And Project Management Experience: Stryker Is Looking For A Candidate Who Can Lead A Team And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously. This Requires Strong Communication Skills, The Ability To Delegate Tasks And Manage Timelines, And The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members.
Quality Certifications: Stryker Values Candidates Who Hold Quality Certifications Such As Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Or Asq Certified Quality Engineer (Cqe). These Certifications Demonstrate A Commitment To Quality And Continuous Improvement.
