- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Stryker's business strategy, goals, and objectives in order to align technology architecture with company objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of a long-term technology architecture strategy for the organization, taking into consideration current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that support business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to teams across the organization to ensure alignment with the overall technology architecture strategy.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption to enhance the company's technology architecture.
- Develop and maintain architectural standards, principles, and guidelines to ensure consistency across all technology systems and solutions.
- Oversee the design and implementation of complex technology solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with the overall technology architecture.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology solutions, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on the performance and effectiveness of technology solutions, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and sustainable.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in technology architecture, and make recommendations for their implementation within the organization.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Represent Stryker as a subject matter expert in technology architecture at conferences, events, and other industry forums.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technology architecture team.
Advanced Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field: A Principal Enterprise Architect At Stryker Should Possess An Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Information Systems, Or Engineering. This Will Ensure A Strong Foundation In Technical Knowledge And Understanding Of Complex Systems.
Extensive Experience In Enterprise Architecture: A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Enterprise Architecture Is Required For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Successful Enterprise-Level Systems And Solutions.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Principal Enterprise Architect, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Lead A Team Of Architects And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Influence Decision-Making, Are Essential For This Role.
