  1. Develop and improve medical devices: The primary responsibility of this role is to utilize mechanical engineering expertise to design, develop, and improve medical devices.
  2. Conduct research and development: The R&D Engineer will be responsible for conducting research and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and technologies in the medical device industry, and using that knowledge to enhance the company's products.
  3. Drive innovation: The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to innovate and constantly look for ways to improve and enhance existing products, as well as develop new ones.
  4. Ensure sustainability: The Sustainment team is responsible for ensuring the sustainability of the company's products. The R&D Engineer will play a key role in this by incorporating sustainable practices and materials in the design and development of medical devices.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The R&D Engineer will work closely with other teams such as product development, marketing, and quality assurance to ensure the successful development and launch of new products.
  6. Conduct testing and analysis: The R&D Engineer will be responsible for conducting various tests and analyses to ensure the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of the company's medical devices.
  7. Stay compliant with regulations: The medical device industry is highly regulated, and the R&D Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet regulatory requirements and standards.
  8. Document and report findings: The R&D Engineer will be responsible for documenting and reporting their findings, test results, and recommendations to support the development and improvement of medical devices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Research And Development For Medical Devices Or Related Industry

  • Proficiency In Cad Software And Other Engineering Design Tools

  • Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes And Materials Used In Medical Device Production

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Innovate And Adapt To Changing Project Requirements.
