  1. Conduct research and development activities to design and develop innovative medical devices that improve patient outcomes.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product designers, engineers, and scientists to develop new product concepts and improve existing products.
  3. Utilize your expertise in mechanical engineering principles and techniques to design, prototype, and test new medical devices.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed engineering specifications, design documentation, and test plans.
  5. Analyze and troubleshoot design issues, and propose and implement effective solutions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in medical device technology to continuously improve product performance and innovation.
  7. Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and communicate progress and challenges to project teams and management.
  8. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, and maintain proper documentation throughout the product development process.
  9. Work with suppliers and vendors to identify and evaluate new materials and components for use in medical device design.
  10. Mentor and train junior engineers, and share knowledge and best practices with the team.
  11. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute new ideas to drive innovation and improve product design.
  12. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality of product development.
  13. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to understand customer needs and incorporate them into product design.
  14. Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain a positive attitude while promoting a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Mechanical Design And Development In The Medical Device Industry

  • Proficiency In Cad Software, Such As Solidworks Or Autocad

  • Strong Understanding Of Engineering Principles And Ability To Apply Them In The Design And Development Of New Products

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards For Medical Devices, Such As Iso 13485 And Fda Regulations.
