  1. Develop and implement Lean strategies and initiatives to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  2. Train and coach employees at all levels on Lean principles and methodologies.
  3. Lead and facilitate Lean projects and workshops to identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
  5. Monitor and track progress of Lean initiatives, providing regular updates and recommendations to leadership.
  6. Conduct data analysis and use Lean tools to identify and eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
  7. Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to standardize processes and ensure consistent quality.
  8. Act as a change agent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and fostering a mindset of operational excellence.
  9. Communicate and promote Lean principles and successes throughout the organization to build buy-in and support.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Lean methodologies to continually improve and innovate processes.
  11. Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure alignment and collaboration in Lean initiatives.
  12. Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to Lean principles.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and teamwork.
  14. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve Lean processes to drive sustainable results and support the company's mission to make healthcare better.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Lean Principles And Methodologies: A Lean Leader At Stryker Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Lean Principles And Methodologies Such As Value Stream Mapping, Continuous Improvement, And Waste Reduction. They Should Also Have Experience Implementing These Principles In A Manufacturing Or Operations Environment.

  • Proven Leadership Skills: A Lean Leader Should Have Experience Leading Teams And Driving Change Within An Organization. They Should Be Able To Inspire And Motivate Others To Embrace Lean Thinking And Drive Improvement Initiatives.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Lean Leaders Need To Be Able To Identify Process Inefficiencies And Develop Solutions To Improve Them. They Should Have Experience Using Tools Such As Root Cause Analysis, Dmaic, And Pdca To Effectively Solve Problems And Drive Continuous Improvement.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Lean Leader Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With All Levels Of The Organization, From Frontline Workers To Senior Leadership. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Implement Lean Initiatives And Drive Change.

  • Experience In A Manufacturing Or Operations Environment: Lean Leaders At Stryker Should Have Experience Working In A Manufacturing Or Operations Environment, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. This Experience Will Help Them Understand The Unique Challenges And Processes Involved In These Industries And How Lean Principles Can Be Applied To Improve Them.
