Job Description

At Stryker, we are looking for a Lead Engineering Technician to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this position, you will manage a team of engineering technicians and oversee the development, maintenance, and testing of Stryker’s products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of engineering principles and a strong technical background. We are looking for someone with a passion for problem-solving and a desire to stay ahead of the curve in the ever-changing world of engineering.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, and a proven track record of leading teams. You should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative. Additionally, you must have a deep understanding of engineering principles and the ability to apply them to complex scenarios. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for learning and staying abreast of the latest developments in engineering and technology.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of engineering technicians and oversee the development, maintenance, and testing of Stryker’s products.
  2. Ensure that all engineering projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of engineering technicians and address any issues or concerns.
  4. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of engineering principles and the latest developments in engineering and technology.
  5. Develop and implement processes and procedures for the engineering team.
  6. Train and mentor engineering technicians and ensure that they are following the standards and protocols established by the company.
  7. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that projects are properly executed.
  8. Liaise with external vendors and stakeholders as necessary.
  9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  10. Prepare reports and presentations on engineering projects for management.
