  1. Conduct thorough research and analysis of state and local tax laws to ensure compliance for the company.
  2. Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including sales and use tax, property tax, and other indirect taxes.
  3. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to the company.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tax planning strategies and minimize tax liability.
  5. Identify and resolve any tax discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  6. Assist with tax audits and respond to information requests from tax authorities.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.
  8. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external tax advisors regarding tax matters.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in indirect tax compliance.
  10. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to tax planning and process improvements.
  11. Provide support and guidance to other team members as needed.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Indirect Tax Compliance And Reporting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations, Particularly In The Areas Of Sales And Use Tax, Vat, And Gst

  • Experience Working With Erp Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Tax Software, Such As Vertex Or Onesource

  • Professional Certification, Such As Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Or Certified Indirect Tax Analyst (Cita), Is Preferred But Not Required.
