Job Description

Do you have a passion for planning, organizing, and hosting events? Are you a creative problem solver, with the ability to handle multiple tasks? Stryker is looking for an Event Planning Specialist to join our team.We are seeking an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will be responsible for managing and coordinating events and activities for the company. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the event industry, excellent organizational and planning skills, and the ability to work under pressure.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in event planning and management. A Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event planning, public relations or related field is preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent computer and customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.If you have a passion for planning and hosting events, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, coordinate, and manage events and activities for the company.
  2. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure event objectives are met.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  4. Create a budget and manage costs associated with events.
  5. Monitor event progress and readjust plans as needed.
  6. Utilize customer service skills to ensure satisfaction of guests.
  7. Leverage computer and technology skills to create event materials.
  8. Research, gather, and analyze data related to events.
  9. Develop marketing plans and campaigns to promote upcoming events.
  10. Coordinate transportation and accommodations for guests.
  11. Manage post-event evaluation and follow-up.
