Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Director of Engineering who is passionate about driving success through technology and innovation. As a key member of the Stryker leadership team, you’ll be responsible for leading the Engineering department and effectively managing its resources. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is looking to make a positive impact on a high-performing team.To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical knowledge and experience in engineering, including an advanced degree in relevant engineering disciplines. You should also have demonstrated success in leading engineering teams and developing innovative solutions. Additionally, you should have strong organizational and planning skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to think analytically and strategically. The ideal candidate must be organized, results-driven, and passionate about developing and implementing new strategies to drive success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the Engineering department and its resources
  2. Guide and support the engineering team to ensure successful project completion
  3. Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive success
  4. Analyze and assess engineering objectives and goals
  5. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
  6. Foster a culture of collaboration and support within the engineering team
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners
  8. Monitor and analyze engineering trends and identify opportunities for improvement
  9. Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulations
  10. Maintain strong knowledge of engineering best practices and industry developments
