Job Description

The Detailed Production Scheduler at Stryker is an essential role in keeping the production running smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage and coordinate the scheduling of production activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning. The successful candidate will have a passion for process improvement and be committed to working collaboratively to ensure the timely and accurate completion of production schedules. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and enjoys finding creative solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement production schedules in line with organizational objectives.
  2. Monitor and adjust production schedules to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy.
  3. Consult with production engineers and other personnel to identify areas of improvement in production scheduling.
  4. Implement process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing production efficiency.
  5. Monitor the progress of production schedules and manage any necessary changes.
  6. Ensure effective communication of production schedules to all relevant stakeholders.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Manage and maintain production and scheduling databases.
  9. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of necessary materials.
  10. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the production process.
