- Conduct risk assessments and provide input in the design and development of new medical devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design issues and improve product quality.
- Perform design verification and validation activities to ensure product performance and safety.
- Review and approve design documentation, including design inputs, specifications, and test protocols.
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements.
- Develop and maintain design control procedures and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to product design and quality.
- Train and mentor team members on quality procedures and best practices.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product design.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and product quality.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of design activities and quality assurance processes.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously strive to improve and maintain a high level of quality in product design processes and outcomes.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Quality Engineering Role, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In An Engineering Field Such As Mechanical, Biomedical, Or Industrial Engineering.
Strong Understanding Of Design Control Processes And Regulations, Including Iso 13485 And Fda Guidelines.
Experience With Risk Management Methodologies, Such As Fmea And Dfmea.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
