As a CMM Programmer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our products by programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).   1. Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to measure and analyze the accuracy and reliability of products.
  2. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop measurement plans and ensure product quality meets specifications.
  3. Utilize knowledge of metrology principles and software to accurately program CMMs.
  4. Conduct thorough inspections and measurements of products using CMMs, identifying any potential issues and communicating them to relevant teams.
  5. Maintain and calibrate CMMs to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with CMMs, escalating to appropriate parties if necessary.
  7. Document and record all measurements and results accurately and efficiently.
  8. Continuously monitor and improve measurement processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating CMMs.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and advancements in CMM technology.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and provide support when needed.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  13. Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
  14. Represent the company and its values in a professional manner.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Cmm Programming Software: A Strong Candidate For A Cmm Programmer Position At Stryker Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cmm Programming Software, Such As Pc-Dmis Or Calypso. They Should Be Able To Efficiently Program And Operate The Software To Accurately Measure And Inspect Complex Parts.

  • Knowledge Of Gd&T And Blueprint Reading: As A Cmm Programmer At Stryker, It Is Essential To Have A Strong Understanding Of Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (Gd&T) And Be Able To Read And Interpret Complex Blueprints. This Ensures That The Measurements And Inspections Are Aligned With The Design Specifications.

  • Experience With Precision Measurement Equipment: Stryker Deals With High-Precision Medical Devices, And A Cmm Programmer Should Be Well-Versed In Using Various Precision Measurement Equipment, Including Micrometers, Calipers, And Height Gauges. They Should Also Have Experience With Advanced Measurement Tools Like Laser Scanners And Vision Systems.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: As A Cmm Programmer, Attention To Detail And Accuracy Are Crucial. The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Any Discrepancies Or Anomalies In The Measurements. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Statistical Process Control (Spc) Methods To Ensure Accuracy And Repeatability.

  • Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: A Cmm Programmer At Stryker Should Possess Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Troubleshoot Any Issues With The Programming Or Measurement Process.
