  1. Conduct research and analysis to support the development of innovative medical technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and evaluate new products.
  3. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative solutions to complex engineering problems.
  4. Assist in the development and execution of project plans to ensure timely and successful completion of assigned tasks.
  5. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of engineering documentation and reports.
  6. Attend team meetings and provide updates on project progress and any potential roadblocks.
  7. Follow established engineering processes and standards to ensure the quality and safety of products.
  8. Continuously learn and apply new skills and techniques to support personal and professional growth.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to share ideas, provide updates, and seek feedback.
  10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to safety and compliance.
  11. Provide support to senior engineers and managers as needed.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  13. Represent the company and its values in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
  14. Take initiative and proactively identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures.
  15. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in biomedical and mechanical engineering.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Or Mechanical Engineering: Candidates Must Have A Solid Foundation In Both Biomedical And Mechanical Engineering Principles To Be Qualified For The Co-Op Position At Stryker. A Bachelor's Degree In Either Of These Fields Is A Minimum Requirement.

  • Strong Academic Record: Stryker Is A Leading Medical Technology Company That Values Academic Excellence. Candidates Should Have A Strong Academic Record With A Minimum Gpa Of 3.0 To Be Considered For The Co-Op Position.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Device Regulations: As A Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering Co-Op At Stryker, Candidates Should Have A Good Understanding Of Medical Device Regulations And Standards Such As Iso 13485 And Fda Regulations. This Knowledge Is Essential For Designing And Developing Medical Devices That Meet Regulatory Requirements.

  • Proficient In Cad Software: Stryker Uses Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software Extensively In Their Product Design Process. Candidates Should Be Proficient In Using Cad Software Such As Solidworks, Autocad, Or Pro/Engineer To Be Qualified For The Co-Op Position.
