- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures for Stryker's mergers and acquisitions process.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential acquisition targets to identify any compliance or privacy risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and privacy considerations are addressed during the integration of acquired companies.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to compliance and privacy in the healthcare industry.
- Create and implement training programs to educate employees on compliance and privacy best practices.
- Monitor and review compliance reports and conduct audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate potential compliance and privacy risks during the integration process.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external legal counsel to address any compliance and privacy concerns.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on compliance and privacy matters.
- Foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the company.
- Prepare and present compliance and privacy reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to stay informed of any changes in compliance and privacy laws and regulations.
- Manage and oversee compliance and privacy training for new hires and ongoing training for existing employees.
- Continuously evaluate and improve compliance and privacy processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Knowledge Of Compliance And Privacy Regulations: The Associate Manager Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Compliance And Privacy Regulations, Such As Hipaa And Gdpr, To Ensure That All M&A Integration Activities Are In Line With Industry Standards And Legal Requirements.
Experience In M&A Integration: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Managing Compliance And Privacy Aspects Of M&A Integrations. This Includes Conducting Due Diligence, Developing Integration Plans, And Executing Post-Merger Activities.
Strong Communication Skills: As An Associate Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Various Stakeholders, Including Legal Teams, Regulatory Authorities, And Internal Business Units. Therefore, Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
