Loss Prevention Specialist

Stater Bros. is looking for an experienced and motivated Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team! Responsibilities:

• Monitor store activities to identify potential security risks, suspicious behavior, and other theft activity • Apprehend shoplifters in accordance with company policies and procedures • Maintain CCTV surveillance systems and monitor footage • Monitor customer behavior to identify and prevent shoplifting • Investigate incidents of theft and other security breaches • Document incidents of theft and other security breaches • Maintain a detailed knowledge of company policies and procedures • Cooperate with local law enforcement when necessary • Conduct random security checks of the premises • Respond to emergency situations in a timely and appropriate manner • Maintain friendly and professional customer service at all times • Work with store management to ensure safety and security of employees and customers • Develop and implement security plans and procedures to prevent future loss or theft • Provide weekly and monthly reports to store manager on security-related matters
