  1. Develop and implement educational programs and materials focused on wildlife conservation, catering to diverse audiences including students, educators, community groups, and the general public.
  2. Conduct outreach activities and presentations to promote awareness and understanding of the importance of wildlife conservation.
  3. Collaborate with other agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to coordinate and enhance conservation efforts and initiatives.
  4. Stay up to date on current environmental and conservation issues, trends, and research to ensure accurate and relevant information is being shared with the public.
  5. Utilize various mediums such as social media, newsletters, and press releases to effectively communicate conservation messages and engage the community.
  6. Plan and lead educational events, workshops, and nature-based activities to foster a deeper connection and appreciation for the natural world.
  7. Develop and maintain partnerships with schools and educational institutions to integrate conservation education into curriculum and programs.
  8. Conduct surveys and collect data to evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments for improvement.
  9. Serve as a resource and subject matter expert on wildlife conservation for the public and internal staff.
  10. Represent the state of Pennsylvania at conferences, workshops, and other events to showcase successful conservation efforts and share best practices with others in the field.
  11. Participate in fundraising and grant writing activities to secure funding for conservation education initiatives.
  12. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to wildlife conservation and education.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Educational Programs For Diverse Audiences, Particularly In The Field Of Wildlife Conservation.

  • Knowledge Of Local And State Wildlife Laws And Regulations, As Well As Current Conservation Issues And Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Educate Individuals And Groups.

  • Experience Coordinating And Collaborating With Various Stakeholders, Such As Government Agencies, Non-Profit Organizations, And Educational Institutions.
