- Conduct thorough investigations into complex and sensitive cases assigned by the State of Pennsylvania.
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team to gather evidence, interview witnesses, and analyze data to support investigations.
- Ensure all investigations are conducted in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Utilize various investigative techniques and tools to uncover relevant information and identify potential suspects.
- Review and analyze evidence to determine its relevance and credibility.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings to present to superiors and legal authorities.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and records.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information and materials related to investigations.
- Serve as a liaison with other law enforcement agencies and assist in joint investigations.
- Stay up-to-date with current laws, regulations, and investigative techniques to ensure effective and efficient operations.
- Testify in court as an expert witness when necessary.
- Act with integrity and professionalism at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for successful investigations.
- Provide support and guidance to junior investigators when needed.
- Uphold the values and mission of the State of Pennsylvania in all aspects of the job.
A Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Criminology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Conducting Investigations, Preferably In A Government Or Law Enforcement Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws, Regulations, And Investigative Techniques.
Excellent Communication And Report Writing Skills.
Ability To Obtain And Maintain A Valid State Driver's License And Pass A Background Check.
