  1. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of social workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to effectively carry out their duties.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the social work department, including managing caseloads, assigning tasks, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  3. Serve as a mentor to social workers, offering support, feedback, and professional development opportunities to help them grow in their roles.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of social work services provided by the department.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to coordinate services and resources for clients.
  6. Conduct regular performance evaluations of social workers and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their performance.
  7. Stay up-to-date on best practices and changes in social work policies and procedures, and ensure that the department is in compliance with all relevant regulations.
  8. Represent the department at meetings, conferences, and other events, advocating for the needs of the clients and the department.
  9. Handle complex and sensitive cases, providing guidance and support to social workers as needed.
  10. Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure that all documentation and paperwork is completed in a timely and thorough manner.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where diversity is valued and all team members feel supported and respected.
  12. Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to develop and implement department-wide initiatives and policies.
  13. Serve as a liaison between the department and community organizations, promoting the services and resources available to clients.
  14. Handle any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the department director or other senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Licensed Social Worker.

  • Previous Supervisory Experience In A Social Work Setting.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Social Work Practices.

  • Strong Communication, Leadership, And Conflict Resolution Skills.
