As the right-hand to the Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our liquor store.   1. Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and management of the liquor store.
  2. Ensure the store is properly stocked and inventory levels are maintained.
  3. Oversee and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
  4. Train and mentor new employees on store policies and procedures.
  5. Monitor and enforce compliance with state and federal regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.
  6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including displays and pricing.
  8. Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
  9. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with ordering and receiving shipments.
  10. Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement employee training programs.
  11. Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed accurately and securely.
  12. Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and employees.
  13. Continuously monitor and report on store performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  14. Adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect employees, customers, and the store's assets.
  15. Promote responsible alcohol consumption and educate customers on the importance of following state laws and regulations.
  16. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Or Customer Service Management Role, Preferably In A Liquor Store Or Related Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of State And Local Laws And Regulations Related To The Sale Of Alcohol, Including Age Verification And Responsible Serving Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Manage A Team Of Employees.

  • Proficiency In Inventory Management And Ordering Processes, With A Keen Eye For Maintaining Accurate Stock Levels And Identifying Potential Discrepancies.

  • Familiarity With Point-Of-Sale Systems And Cash Handling Procedures, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot Any Technical Issues That May Arise.
