  1. Enforce Liquor Laws and Regulations: The primary responsibility of a Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee is to enforce all state and local laws related to the sale, distribution, and consumption of alcohol.
  2. Learn from Experienced Officers: The trainee will have the opportunity to learn from experienced officers and gain valuable knowledge and skills in the field of liquor enforcement.
  3. Ensure Community Safety: The trainee will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our communities by monitoring and regulating the sale and consumption of alcohol.
  4. Conduct Inspections: The trainee will be responsible for conducting routine inspections of licensed establishments to ensure compliance with liquor laws and regulations.
  5. Educate the Public: The trainee will educate the public on liquor laws and regulations, as well as the potential consequences of violating them.
  6. Document and Report Violations: The trainee will be responsible for documenting and reporting any violations of liquor laws and regulations to their superiors.
  7. Collaborate with Law Enforcement: The trainee will work closely with local law enforcement agencies to enforce liquor laws and assist with any related investigations.
  8. Attend Trainings and Workshops: The trainee will be required to attend trainings and workshops to continuously improve their knowledge and skills in liquor enforcement.
  9. Maintain Integrity: The trainee must maintain a high level of integrity and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee Position Is A High School Diploma Or Ged.

  • Valid Driver's License: An Individual Applying For This Position Must Possess A Valid Driver's License And Be Able To Operate A State-Owned Vehicle.

  • Basic Knowledge Of Liquor Laws: Familiarity With State And Federal Liquor Laws, Regulations, And Enforcement Procedures Is Preferred.

  • Physical Fitness: Candidates Must Be Able To Pass A Physical Fitness Test, As The Job May Require Physical Activity Such As Foot Patrols And Lifting Heavy Objects.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Position As The Individual Will Need To Interact With The Public, Law Enforcement Agencies, And Other Government Officials.
