- Provide administrative support to the legal office by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements for legal staff.
- Maintain and organize legal documents, including filing, scanning, and indexing.
- Monitor and track legal department budgets, expenses, and invoices.
- Prepare and proofread legal documents, such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings.
- Assist with the preparation and dissemination of legal correspondence and communications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, redirecting as necessary.
- Manage and update legal databases and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate and assist with the onboarding and training of new legal staff.
- Plan and coordinate legal department events, such as meetings, trainings, and conferences.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on legal developments and assist with legal research as needed.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth functioning of the legal office.
- Provide administrative support to legal staff, including attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the legal department.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Legal Studies, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Legal Office Environment, Preferably In A Government Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Legal Terminology, Court Procedures, And Legal Document Preparation.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Multitask In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Legal Software, Such As Lexisnexis Or Westlaw.
