- Conduct legal research to support attorneys in building strong cases for the citizens of Pennsylvania.
- Draft legal documents, such as briefs, memos, and contracts, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all necessary documents and evidence are organized and easily accessible.
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and scheduling court dates.
- Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals to ensure smooth and efficient case proceedings.
- Multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure all legal documents are completed and filed in a timely manner.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect current and future cases.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence.
- Collaborate with other Legal Assistants and attorneys to share knowledge and resources and provide support as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Attend court hearings and trials to assist attorneys and take notes as needed.
- Use legal databases and software to assist in legal research and document preparation.
- Follow office procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective legal services are provided to clients.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards as outlined by the State Bar Association and the State of Pennsylvania.
Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or Related Field
