  1. Conduct legal research to support attorneys in building strong cases for the citizens of Pennsylvania.
  2. Draft legal documents, such as briefs, memos, and contracts, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all necessary documents and evidence are organized and easily accessible.
  4. Assist attorneys with case preparation, including organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and scheduling court dates.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals to ensure smooth and efficient case proceedings.
  6. Multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure all legal documents are completed and filed in a timely manner.
  7. Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect current and future cases.
  8. Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence.
  9. Collaborate with other Legal Assistants and attorneys to share knowledge and resources and provide support as needed.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  11. Attend court hearings and trials to assist attorneys and take notes as needed.
  12. Use legal databases and software to assist in legal research and document preparation.
  13. Follow office procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective legal services are provided to clients.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  15. Adhere to ethical and professional standards as outlined by the State Bar Association and the State of Pennsylvania.
